Question
hi i'm 14 years old and i want to be a teen actress but i dont have any experience yet so i was wondering is taking acting classes good enough to get signed to an agent or should i also do plays and also what are some good acting agencies for teens and what are some good acting classes in Miami Florida?

Answer
Hi Michelle, taking acting classes before you have done any acting is a waste of money. First you need to be in some school plays to see if you are any good, then if you get three or four good roles, you can take a class. Taking classes has less to do with getting an agent than your experience in plays. Don't get in a hurry, it takes a lifetime to become an actor. And you are not going to be a teen actor unless your parents make it happen, but by the way you ask the questions, they aren't working on that. God bless, Doc
