Hey my name is tylin daniels and I live in Calgary and I wanna become an actor I took the classes and I know what to do but the thing is I need an agent to act I wonna make it big while I'm still young I wanna be in movies and t.v. Shows.  While I'm still young I just turned 16 and I wonna be an actor. Can you help me?

Dear Tyler, One of the things wrong with 'the classes' or any classes is that they usually do not teach the aspiring actor how to get an agent or how to get work.  At 16 your parents have to get an agent for you.  I imagine the work in Calgary is very thin and to really get into it you would have to go to Vancouver when you graduate.  Don't be in such a hurry to become an actor, it will take years and years,perhaps your entire lifetime to become established as an actor. Use this time to build your resume by being in the school plays. That is the best training you can get as an actor for stage or screen and it helps your resume as well.
