Hey there,

My name is Derek. I'm 20 years old and I currently live in Los Angeles, CA. I'm very determined and passionate about acting. I've done all the plays and musicals since my 6th grade year. I know in my mind, that i won't be happy doing anything other than acting. My question is on how to get started in film. I live so close to Hollywood and all the entertainment, but at the same time i feel so far away! I know i can act, I've been told that since i started, and i know I'm good looking as well, so where do i go from here? Do you suggest acting lessons/ school? getting headshots and going for an agent right away? I just want to know where to begin! Thanks a lot! ;)
