Question
I am a foreigner; interested in becoming a writer/actor for the Disney channel and I would like to know if that is by any chance possible. If so, am I old enough to write or am I too old to act (I am 20 years old), how much prior experience is needed and how do I go about it?

Answer
Bebe,

Thanks for writing. You have as much of a chance as anyone of being able to write for The Disney Channel. At 20 years of age, you are certainly old enough to write or act for them. But you will need LOTS of experience as well as knowledge and talent.

My suggestion is to enroll at a college or university that has an excellent screenwriting program. Learnt the craft of writing. Then when you're ready, move to Los Angeles and pursue your career.

Good luck!

Phil
