Answer
Dear Jibri,

Thanks for writing. The first thing you need to do is get into some acting classes. Here's a couple in your area that have good reputations:

Bay Area Acting Studios - http://www.bayareaacting.com/index.html

American Conservatory Theater - http://www.act-sf.org/site/PageServer

BATS Improv Theater - http://www.improv.org/Home.aspx

Acting classes will help develop your talent and introduce you to casting directors who can cast you in local work. When you perform with one of these groups, invite agents and casting directors to see your work. "The proof is in the pudding" as they say, which means that an agent won't know you can act until he can see you in a role.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Phil
