Question
Hi,my name is Mary and I am 11 years old and I live in a small town Saugerties, New York. My town is small and civilized and I don't know who to go to, to ask where an acting job is? And just so you know I don't want to move. And one more question, do I have to go to acting school during high school to become an actress?

Warm feelings,
Mary, 11

Answer
Hi Mary, Well there are almost no jobs for preteens. And one needs an agent to be a professional actor. The best thing you can do is to use middle school and high school to be in all the plays you can in prepartion for becoming an actress. There is time for acting school when you graduate. Do not get in a hurry to become an actress -- that is what gets people scammed. Best wishes and God bless, Doc
