Question
My name is Adeeb Amin I'm from UK and I have no experience but studied drama in school but failed due to my acting partner who messed everything up in the final play.
With me being Asain and I was wondering if you could recommend any acting studios to develop a career or help me to preform acting.

I can't really recommend acting schools in the UK as I am based in the States,
but I'm sure if you search the net and speak with other actors,you can find that out.
I'm confused how you would fail due to your scene partner doing badly. Is it possible that your performance may have been a bit rough as well? It's important to avoid saying bad things about fellow actors. A bad habit if you become famous. Always find a compliment for all those you work with. If they jump an entire line of dialog, help them to recover any way you can. While its great when you can feed off the energy of a good partner, but sometimes you will wind up with someone who is so "over the top" that you want to cringe. What to do? Act naturally as you would. Ignore and avoid rising up to their over-performance. You will come out ok, and they will be the jackass!

I have been a professional actor 21 years, with appearances in TV, Film and commercials. I have made good decisions and potentially damaging mistakes. I also have belonged to agencies in three other Texas cities, but they have since closed.) TXMPA -Texas Motion Picture Alliance. Various other internet networking web rings as well as Actors Access. I was instrumental in advising actress Krista Allen on getting her career in acting started in Austin,Texas (we worked at the same Health Club in the early '90's).

Education/Credentials
I have acted for 21 years. I studied under James Nelson Harrell as well as other talented actors at Southwest Texas State University. After college, I have taken classes with Julliard graduate Mona Lee, Bill Johnson, Van Brookes, Marco Perella and others in Austin Texas. I am constantly attending classes to maintain my edge and explore new directions. In addition to attending strictly acting classes, I have also taken business workshops with respected casting directors, such as Shari Rhodes ("Jaws","Close Encounters", "Raggedy Man".) Barbara Brinkley, Jo Edna Bolden and Donise Hardy, (Castingworks LA).
