Question
I would really love to pursue and acting career but I'm not sure how to get an agent, and I don't know what an agent really does either,but I've heard an agent is really important. I live in Texas. Any advice would be great! Thank you!

Hi Emily, Well getting an agent is not the first step, it is one of the last steps in pursuing an acting career. I advise you to go to my blog and read everything on it all the way back to the beginning.  One of the first things you will read is All About Agents, but there is much more you need to know on the blog.  As you read it feel free to ask me more questions at kencosp@aol.com where I usually advise actors.
