Question
Hi,
My request is very very important because my situation is kind difficult..
Well,my name is Loubna and I'm 18 years-old.
I love acting, singing and dancing, it's my passion and I can't live without this... That makes me happy, this is my passion.
Now,I wanna complete my dream of professional acting. The problem is that I haven't "serious" experience and no agent. I'm really lost and I don't know how to start my career. But, above all, the big problem is that I'm French so my English kind sucks, I mean I don't have a perfect American accent. And I don't want to act in France, here, because I don't like french movies :/ My dream is work in a Disney production <3 And I don't know if I can audition ... for HSM4 for example... What should I do ??? Please help me !!!!!
Sincerely, Loubna =D

Answer
Loubna,

Thanks for writing. I hate to say it, but the odds are against you. First off all, you need training. Then, once you've got the necessary actor's training under your belt, you need to move to Los Angeles as 95% of all film and TV is cast in LA. You definitely need to work on eliminating your French accent if you want to work in film in the USA. If you have an accent, you will immediately be limited in the number of roles for which you would be considered. Think about it - how many lead actresses in American films have an accent. Very, very few.

So, get into some terrific acting classes. Spend a couple of years studying, then move to Los Angeles. If you can afford to do it now, move now and get into some good acting classes in LA.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
