Answer
Unfortunately you are in an area where there isn't much work for models available.  If you have the support of a family member who can drive you, and/or friends you can stay with in a larger market then it won't be so much of a problem getting an agent and finding work.

I'm not sure exactly how far you are from San Francisco - or if you know anyone you can stay with over there, but if you can make the commute there are quite a few legitimate model and talent agencies for you to choose from there.

I'll provide a list for your use in the future, if you find a way to be able to travel.

Boom Models and Talent
2325 3RD STREET, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94107
415-626-6591

Dizon Model and Talent Agency
873 SUTTER ST., SUITE B, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94109
415-567-3253

J E Talent, LLC
323 GEARY, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94102
415-395-9475

Look Model and Talent Agency
166 GEARY BLVD, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94108
415-781-2841

Marla Dell Talent Agency Inc
2124 UNION STREET, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94123
415-563-9213

San Francisco Top Models and Talent
2261 MARKET STREET, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94114
415-391-1800

Talent Plus Agency/Los Latinos Talent
2801 MOORPARK AVE STE 6 SAN JOSE, CA 95128
831-443-5542

Tonry Talent Agency
885 BRYANT STREET, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94103
415-543-3797

As far as I have researched, all the agencies above represent talent of your age and have a modeling division.  If you can figure out how to get to where the work is, I'm sure one of the agencies from the list above will be right for you.  For other locations in the US including Hoolywood, you can check the franchised agency list on the Screen Actors Guild website: www.sag.org/content/find-agent
Look for agencies marked as representing 'all ages' and being 'full service' - they represent models in addition to actors.  You can then use your favorite search engine to look up the websites for any agency you are interested in.  Their website will usually detail what types of models/talent they represent, and what they want to see from you for consideration.

Good luck to you,
~Kitty

I can answer questions from those looking to get into the fashion or commercial modeling industry. Specifically, the requirements, what is needed, how to find an agent, what they look for, how to avoid scams, the difference between what a commercial model does, and a fashion model, would travel/relocation be required, what is on a comp card and in your portfolio.

Experience

Both my acting and modeling resume/portfolio is available online on my website. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and also have available my actor's demo reel and voice-over demo online. I founded both the Florida-Models.com and Florida-Actors.com websites, which provide free modeling and acting info to the public. I have moved into directing, producing and screenwriting - and have won awards for my writing. I have worked in the industry as both a model and actress in Florida, New York City and Los Angeles until October 2007. I now reside in Europe.
