QUESTION: like selena gomez or like the disney chanel stars.

Answer
Erynn,

In order to have a singing career, you first need an amazing voice. Next you need to train your voice, so get into some top-notch singing classes and develop your voice. Then you need to record a demo reel of two or three songs. They need to be of a professional quality that really shows your talent.

Next, set up a webpage for yourself, either your own page or a myspace page, something where you can post your songs that you've recorded professionally so people can hear your work. Then start searching the papers and local clubs to see if you can join a band and start singing with them. The more you can be seen and heard, the better chance you have of someone helping you with your career.

Start sending your reel to talent agents that represent singers, and invite them to hear you sing.

That's how you get started.

Good luck!
