Hi my name Is Aleynde. I am really talented and funny. I live in Richmond,Va. People always say I need to get into it. I am african american. I was planning on sending an audition tape to disney this weekend working really hard on it. I take acting classes also. And I really need help to get into it. Thankyou

Well, I can't think of much else you should be doing.
Be sure to make a really good, high quality tape. digital, I hope!
You should be doing a short 1-2 minute monologue that shows several moods on the tape and wearing an outfit that fits the Disney image. It should make you look good, but the girl next door, not a video hoochie-mama thing.
Also, be advised, that should someone see it and respond, you will not get an all-expense-paid trip to audition from Disney. You will have to come up with round trip air tickets for you and your parent (if under 18). You may also have to go BACK for a callback or two. What I'm saying is, it may be expensive to travel or stay there if called.
The good news is, it CAN happen.
This very night I attended a local actors mixer with guest speakers, including my agent and her two kids. Her daughter plays a recurring role on the NBC TV show "Friday Night Lights" and her son: Nick Krause, sent in a taped audition and was summoned to NY from Texas to audition for a new George Clooney movie. He won the part as a slacker guy teen who hangs out with Clooney's on-screen daughters in Hawaii. It was a 3 month shoot on location on the Hawaiian Islands. There is already Oscar buzz for the movie, although it may not be ready for a December release, which would be essential to get the statue. If not, the movie will likely go to Sundance in the spring. I have been a professional actor 21 years, with appearances in TV, Film and commercials. I have made good decisions and potentially damaging mistakes. It was sold to Lionsgate and Weinstein Co. for somewhere over 2.5 million. The role was "Mr. Griffith", a sex-ed teacher.

Ciao Agency-Austin/Georgetown, Texas. (Formerly known as Donna Adams Agency. Matthew McConaughey was a good friend and fellow member. I also have belonged to agencies in three other Texas cities, but they have since closed.) TXMPA -Texas Motion Picture Alliance. Various other internet networking web rings as well as Actors Access. I was instrumental in advising actress Krista Allen on getting her career in acting started in Austin,Texas (we worked at the same Health Club in the early '90's).

Education/Credentials
I have acted for 21 years. I studied under James Nelson Harrell as well as other talented actors at Southwest Texas State University. After college, I have taken classes with Julliard graduate Mona Lee, Bill Johnson, Van Brookes, Marco Perella and others in Austin Texas. I am constantly attending classes to maintain my edge and explore new directions. In addition to attending strictly acting classes, I have also taken business workshops with respected casting directors, such as Shari Rhodes ("Jaws","Close Encounters", "Raggedy Man".) Barbara Brinkley, Jo Edna Bolden and Donise Hardy, (Castingworks LA).
