Question
My son is a junior in high school and just completed acting in his first play. He is taking Theater Arts in school this year and loves it. His teacher just adores him. He struggled for his first 2 years of school because he was trying to take subjects to lead him to becoming a pharmacist. He realized that wasn't for him. He loves video editing and directing, but has been bit by the acting bug now. I was wondering if you could help me lead him in the right direction on pursuing a career in acting. I can send you a couple youtube links to his part in the play if that will help. We live in Ohio and he was thinking of trying to get into the arts program at Wright State. He will be taking a triple threat workshop in January and needs to have a monologue that is less than a minute long. Can you help with some pointers for that also? Let me know if you would like to see his first acting debute to help you give him some pointers. I can send the links after you reply. Thank you in advance for any help you can send our way.
