Question
Dear Kenneth D. Plonkey,

I have a talent: I can talk like small children and  babies. I want to apply for a dubbing job in Disney. But on the career site there isn't enough information for me to apply. I guess that you may be very busy but could you advise on this point? Who should I get contact with?

At high school I also took part in the theater and our play got the first prize among high school students in my city. I am a great fan of disney channel and I hope I will hear from you soon.

Best,
Switzerland

Answer
Hi Switzerland,  Well, you need to make your talent known. You do that by becoming a voice actor and/or by getting an agent or both. I suggest you make a demo CD of your talent reading various ads for baby items (you will find these ads in family and baby magazines==just read the print portion of such ads as though they were scripts--you also may do pet products as small animals often could have voices like babies.). Do a variety of voices.  Send these demo CD's to talent agents in your area with a brief letter of what they contain and your interest in becoming a voice actor.  You have to live within an hour or so drive of your agency. Best wishes, Doc
