Dear kitty,          My name is Yeison Gomez I am 21 years old and I have been told by many people I look like a model  in fact I have had people stop me in the streets of New York  to ask me if I wanted to become one I am 6"2 about 178 pounds and in very good shape I am caramel color with short hair and dark brown eyes  the promblem is that that I have a sleeve on my left arm  would that be a promblem? And also I want to know would my age be a promblem I know models tend to start out at a earlie age. I have no modeling experience what so ever, maybe it isn't to late          Sincerely, yeison d gomezzarzuela

You can check the list of top modeling agencies in NYC for open call times, or if you're not currently in their area, then how to submit your information to them.  Fashion models are not required to have any prior experience, and do not use resumes - so you'll have no problem with that.

For any agencies you are interested in, you can use your favorite search engine to find their website.  Most have a website that details both agency criteria (what they look for in new models; height, sizes, ages) as well as submission instructions for new faces.

There are fashion models with scars, birthmarks, tattoos, piercings, teeth braces and so forth - generally that's not too much of a problem as long as it can be concealed or covered up in some way.  What's most important is that one be photogenic, and fit the agency's size/look criteria.
