hey I'm a 15 year old girl who lives in Brisbane and ever since i was 4 I've wanted to become an actress. i know its a very hard road to go down but having such a dream that you've wanted to succeed for so long, I'm willing to give it all I've got. i just want to know how can i get my face around, like on commercials and in magazines. i heard that it would help your acting career by doing commercialism. i really want succeed my goal, i know my parents don't believe in me so all I've got is hope.

You may want to speak with the people over at the Actors Conservatory (www.theactorsconservatory.com) or the Australian Acting Academy (www.actingacademy.com.au).  I'll bet that they have information about the Australian actor's guild, as well as information on agents local to Brisbane.  They also offer training to aspiring actors.  Certainly you can also join your school's drama program if you have one, or a local theater group if you don't want to attend classes, but would rather learn "on-the-job."  In that case you may want to drop off your headshot/resume to the agents closest to you, and tell them you are also interested in doing commercials and commercial print modeling.
