Question
A extras casting agency is looking for local talent to "act" in a upcoming feature film that is being filmed in my city.  The have asked for a photo and contact information.  What type of photo should I send?  an 8X10?  B/W or color?  Headshot or full body shot?  What else should I send?  .I have no experience.
Thanks.

Answer
Patrick,

What you need to send them is an 8X10 photo of you. It can B&W or in color. It can be a picture of just your head and shoulders, or it can be a picture from your mid-thigh up. It's your choice. You should accompany it with a resume if you have one.

Just so you know, extras don't "act," meaning they don't speak. They walk around behind the principal actors. So it doesn't require much experience or acting talent.

Good luck!
