Question
My daughter recently started taking commercial/acting classes at JRP in Birmingham.  I allowed her to start taking the classes basically to boost her self esteem and if she gets work...fine.  I really don't want to spend more money.

However, she had her 1st audition with Wilhelmena and received a call back.  We made the call today but no return call as of yet.  But, when they do call back what should we expect? Will/should they be asking for more money? She has another audition on Saturday with IPOP and Disney later this month and we're having a hard time trying to find a pre-teen monologue/commercial.  We need some help. Even though I have my motives for getting her involved she really likes acting, dancing and clowning around. So,what advice do you have for me after this first six months of classes if nothing pans out with these auditions?

Answer
I'm not a huge believer in JRP as a competant place for "acting" classes.
Look up EVERYONE on imdb.com (just type in thier name/s) especially any coach/es that you might be interested in studying with.
You need to har study with someone that (hopefully currently) in the business.
You can look me up as well.
