Hi, I'm Emily and I read your answer to Naomi's question. I'm intrested in auditioning for Disney Channel. I'm eleven and I was wondering Why do you need an agent to get an audition? Thanks!

I didn't say that you have to have an agent to audition for them.

However that's usually the case.

Very few legit auditions for someone like Disney are done without an agents submission.

They do what is called an "open casting call" but are rare.

Good luck, and think about taking some acting classes (in school) and getting involved in some local theatre as well.
