If I sign with a bunch of non-exclusive agencies then am offered a contract with an exclusive agency will it cancel out all my contracts with the non-exclusive agencies?
Which of the following are exclusive: Q Management, Elite, Ford, LA Models?
When you sign a contract, whether it is exclusive or non-exclusive, simply signing with someone else will not cancel anything. You may be breaking the contract, and if there are penalties for doing so, the agency may choose to enforce them. Read the non-exclusive contracts you have, or have an attorney look at them to see what you need to do to release yourself from them if you decide you want to enter into an exclusive contract with someone else. According to their websites - Q Management is exclusive. Elite may be (although some of their faces are also with talent agents.) Ford appears to be exclusive, but also represents a lot of models who are with other talent agents. LA Models is exclusive.
