Question
Hello once again Mr. Meyers. I realized how right you were about the casting website deal; it's because of this that I want to find a talent agency to represent me, and that's how I found this agency called JMM. I just wanted to know if you have heard of this agency before and if it a good agency to try to get in to.
Once again I appreciate your time.

Answer
I don't know this agency, yet if it's SAG franchised, you should be OK.
However any agency that gets you auditions for legitimate gigs is a good agent.
Don't sign with thme for more than 6 months.
Reminder agents should ONLY get from 10-20% MAX commisions from gigs that they send you in on.
Managagers are a different thing, so read the fine print.
If they are in a rush to sign someone that really doesn't have a lot of credits, you have to be a little suspicious.
However give them a chance, they might help.
Ask others that are with that agency about what they go out on and how often.
Managers are supposed to get you interviews with agents and casting directors, they really don't (or really aren't supposed to) get you auditions.
