Question
Hi Phil my daughter is 7 years old and ever since she was a baby everybody would tell me to start her in Modeling but I wanted to wait until she had some knowledge of it. Now she is very interested in modeling and its her decision for starting. I would like to know if you have a name or somebody who will help me find an good agent or give some feedback on this business I am new at this. Thankyou for your time.

Answer
Ana,

Thanks for writing. I wish I could help but I make it a rule not to recommend talent to agents and managers simply because I don't know the person, I don't know if they have any talent, so it's inappropriate for me to make any referrals to agents and/or managers.

That said, one of the best resources for listings of agents and managers is The Hollywood Representation Directory. You can find it at www.hcdonline.com. When you get a copy, look in the index and look for the listing of all the agents and managers that represent children. Then, start by sending her headshot to them and asking them for representation. If anyone thinks she has the right look and the can market her, they'll respond to you.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Phil
