Question
Hi! I am an intermediate to experienced model with a great portfolio, how do I go about getting signed with an agency?

Answer
Hi Krista,  I am going to have to generalize a bit,as modeling is not my expertise, it just happens to be what they stuck on here.  I would think that you write the agents a brief letter requesting an appointment for an interview regarding their representing you as a model.  Enclose a Resume of your experience and training and an 8x10 photo. Indicate you will call them in 2 weeks to make sure they received the package.   Some agencies also will accept phone calls to make appointments for modeling, and one of my advisees in Michigan delivered his resume and photo in person and got an immediate interview and appointment to meet the head of the agency to discuss representation.  So I would try all the methods.  Good hunting,  Doc
