Hi I'm from South Africa and did modeling when I was in Primary school, stoped cause my parents could'nt afford it any more.  Ever since I never really tried doing it again for I can't afford it either.  I want to get into modeling so badly and would want to do it as a permanent job but don't know were to start. I know I can do it cause I've got the confidence and allot of people always ask me why don't I do modeling.  What is my chances.  How do I start.

You'll need to get a copy of one of the modeling agency directories that cover the major markets internationally, or find out which of the top agencies have a branch over there.  I know Boss Models is in Cape Town (http://www.bossmodels.com) and they offer both a postal mail in or email submission for consideration.  Their criteria for new faces is on their website as well.
As to what your chances are - first, you have to fit the requirements set by the agency for height, age, size.  Then you need to be photogenic, which is a skill I'm not sure can be taught or learned, but rather seems to be just something you either are, or aren't.  Satisfy those two requirements and the rest is just a matter if you have the look that they want, and the market wants, you'll work.
