Hey...I'd really like to appear in a music video, what do i have to do to be in one?
If you live in an area where music videos shoot regularly (such as LA, Miami or NYC), you can either tell your agent you are looking to be submitted for that type of work, or submit yourself. You can use one of the online breakdown services (such as ActorsAccess.com) which is also can be sorted to show music video castings. It will also show the names of casting directors who regularly cast such projects. You can then also submit your headshot/resume and a cover letter stating your interest in doing extra/featured or whatever type of roles you are looking for in music videos. If you are looking to be the musician or singer in a music video, I suggest using a talent manager or agent to package and market you. There are talent agency and management directories published which can help you locate names and contact information for representation that may work for you.
