Question
Hi Kitty,
How in those late night cable movies do the actors pull off having sex?   They are obviously 100% naked, usually with the girl on top.  How does the man not get erect?

Answer
I'm not an expert in that particular area - but, suffice it to say that these are movies, and as such the parts are played by actors doing a job in front of a bunch of people.  They are thinking about their lines, cheating to camera, not messing up the set dressing, and whatever else actors think of at work.  Nor are scenes necessarily shot in consecutive order.  If you watch for each camera cut between shots, you can get some idea of how many separate takes they used for each segment, not counting all the times they shot each take just to get one they could use.  It tends to be far more technical than one might imagine, and you have to remember that these are people who are pretending to feel emotions/feelings, and having reactions and experiences that are made up to fictitious situations.  That being said, I'm certain there may be times where someone may feel differently, and may have an unintended reaction.  But, as they say - the show must go on...

Expertise

I can answer questions from those looking to get into the fashion or commercial modeling industry. Specifically, the requirements, what is needed, how to find an agent, what they look for, how to avoid scams, the difference between what a commercial model does, and a fashion model, would travel/relocation be required, what is on a comp card and in your portfolio.

Experience

Both my acting and modeling resume/portfolio is available online on my website. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and also have available my actor's demo reel and voice-over demo online. I founded both the Florida-Models.com and Florida-Actors.com websites, which provide free modeling and acting info to the public. I have moved into directing, producing and screenwriting - and have won awards for my writing. I have worked in the industry as both a model and actress in Florida, New York City and Los Angeles until October 2007. I now reside in Europe.
