Dear Phil,

  How does someone who lives in a small town in a state such as Oregon find Film auditions or an agent for that matter?

Thanks for writing. There are probably not as many agents and/or auditions in Oregon as there would be in Los Angeles, but the best place to start is with the Oregon Film and Video office which is in Portland. Their website is www.oregonfilm.org.

Call them and ask them if they have a list of agencies that they can either email you, fax you, or mail you. Then ask them what the best listing is in Oregon for auditions.
