Question
ok hello my name is Tiana and i'm 14 years old i've been wanting to work with disney channel for some time but like i have no actin experience. I know i can do it I just haven't got my foot all the way in the door. I just don't want it to take a life time, but i also know you can't come a star over night and i understand it takes hard work but do you have any advise for that?

Answer
Tiana,

Thanks for writing. Your instincts are correct - it may take you a lifetime before you are ever able to support yourself from acting. And for most actors, not even that happens. That's the hard reality of pursuing an acting career. 1 in 3,000,000 becomes a movie star or TV star. So the odds are against you.

But if you LOVE acting, and there is NOTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD that will make you happy, then you should follow your heart. And if that means be an actress, then be an actress. The first step is training. You need good acting classes, movement classes, voice classes, improvisation classes, and cold reading classes. Study these subjects as best you can, develop your skllls and techniques, and work hard.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Phil
