Question
My friend and I love acting, when you see famous faces on the screen you just can't help wishing you were them.
I'm 12 and she is 13, we just wanted to ask is it to early to know if it is what we want to do for the rest of our lifes. Also we haven't had any experience yet, is it too late to start?

Answer
I've answered this question a few times, you might look at other answers as well.

No it's not early, actually you are almost getting to old;)

To know if it is what you want to do for the rest of your life, even before you've tried it?

Well that might need to have your talents (or lack there of) be tested, don't you think?

Get into a drama class, music, dance, speech, forensics, band, chior, languages, gymnastics... anything like this
will add to you as an actor in school.

Do theatre either in school or community theatre and see if this is what you REALLY, not just want to do but HAVE to do.

There are a lot of people that love young people with stars in thier eyes and will prey on that, so be careful and look people up on imdb.com or google.com personal websites showing you the way to stardom are usually scams.

Good luck and I hope this helped.
