Answer
Alyssa,

Thanks for writing. If you want to be an actress, my advice is go to school and study the craft of acting. When you're able to, enroll in a college or university with a nationally-recognized drama program, one with a professional actor's training program, like Carnegie Mellon, NYU, Julliard, etc.

If you want to be taken seriously as an actress, you need to develop your talent and learn a variety of acting techniques and skills that will serve you as an actress.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Phil
