i am doing a presentation for my BTEC Performing Arts  Course at school and need to know what a typical day for an actor is like can you tell me please?

Hi there, Jeanniiee :)  Thanks for writing.

If you are talking about a typical day in the life of a professional actor, and if you are talking about an actor who is persistent and committed and enthusiastic, and if you are talking about an actor who is motivated not by money or power or fame but by something that is close to the heart....

Then I would say that a typical day looks like either going to a rehearsal from 9 to 5 and then rehearsing lines and reviewing what was discovered in the rehearsal during the day in the evening. OR looking for and attending auditions (at least 1 or 2 a week).  OR working a second job all day and then acting in the show in the evening (a show which runs for 1 week to 8 weeks or longer).
