My coz just had a baby about 2 years ago. She is so  cute and I think she should get in to acting. she will turn 2 on chirstmas. we live in elmira ny and i don't know how to go about it. where do i start? please get back to me.

Acting is a bit more difficult than acting, as the directions given to the talent are much more complex.  In your case, you may have to look into the agencies in NYC, and see if you could arrange to commute there.  There's just not much at all in the way of work or agencies in Elmira.  If you do decide to go to NYC agents, pick up a copy of the Ross Reports (rossreports.com) on a newsstand or online to locate agents who represent children of that age.  You can then mail them a cover letter and a couple of snapshots for their consideration.  If they are interested, they will most likely ask you to come in for an "audition" such as could be done with someone so young.  You may want to also look into modeling opportunities as well, since the same agencies often represent both acting talent as well as commercial print models.  The Ross Reports will be a good resource for you to find an agent who represents children.
