Question
how do you become a model? are there audition in Colorado springs. can 11 year olds be models?

Answer
There are different types of modeling, and different ways to become involved with it - but generally speaking, one would get an agent.  Your agent's job is to advise you, and get work opportunities for you.  
You could ask the following agency what that area is like for modeling, and if they could recommend an agency in your area if you can't make it over to where they are:

They represent babies to teenagers in their children's division, so the answer to your last question is yes - one can be any age and be a model.

I can answer questions from those looking to get into the fashion or commercial modeling industry. Both my acting and modeling resume/portfolio is available online on my website. I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and also have available my actor's demo reel and voice-over demo online. I founded both the Florida-Models.com and Florida-Actors.com websites, which provide free modeling and acting info to the public. I have moved into directing, producing and screenwriting - and have won awards for my writing. I have worked in the industry as both a model and actress in Florida, New York City and Los Angeles until October 2007. I now reside in Europe.
