Question
See, this is the trouble.  I live in NH and I go on the web a lot to
look up acting movies that need actors but being 13 does not help.
I have always loved acting and I want to be in a movie so badly.  I
love acting with a burning passion but it falls more then lifted.
When I watch TV I feel my heart burning with the pain that I'm not
there behind the camera.  I asked if my mom we could get a agent
but she says that I need more experience but how am I going to get
more experience if won't let me get in a movie or even try-out?

Answer
Sean,

Thanks for writing. Yours is an interesting dilemma. If you're only 13 and  living in NH, your not going to get a lot of auditions. There probably aren't that many auditions in NH. And you're right, if you don't have enough experience or talent, you're not going to get an agent.

Start by getting into some acting classes. Study your craft. Then get cast in some plays. Plays and musicals are the best way to show your talent to a potential agent. Invite them to see your work, then after the show, tell them you're looking for an agent and would they be interested in repping you.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Phil
