Question
Hi Mr.Phil Nemy! My name is Christine and I was wondering that even though I am really shy around people , 11 years old ,have 20/18 vision, a drama queen, and I am in gifted, will I ever become an actress? I always wanted to be one! Please answer my question Phil!Yours truly, Christine.

Answer
Dear Christine,

Thanks for writing. Wow! For an 11 year old young lady, you seem to be really worried about whether or not you'll ever be an actress. If you are already appearing in plays in school and in community theatre, then I have good news for you - you already ARE an actress!! Enjoy it and keep at it!

If you're thinking about the future when you finish high school and college, then the only person who can answer the question "Will I ever become an actress?" is you. If you love acting, it's the only thing in this world that you love doing, you cannot imagine getting up out of bed every day and doing anything else but acting, then continue to pursue your dream and one day, you will get paid to be an actress. It's a long, difficult road, it requires excellent training, it requires hard work and determination, it requires perseverance, and it requires a large amount of luck. But if all of these things fall into place for you, then your dream may be realized.

Good luck!

Phil
