I seem to be confused as to the fact that I have never asked a question here before at all. I found this site yesterday. It wouldn't make sense to ask the same question over again. if you mean you have answered it somewhere on the site please by all means tell me where. I have searched but nothing has come up.

Hi,

As my title says, I'm just out HS and looking at my options. I would
like your opinion, after all a second opinion never killed anyone...

Anywho what I am planning is a lot of training for TV and Film acting.
Right now I have secondary training in Multimedia. I'm thinking about
whether I should get my BA at my local college or get it at a more
prestigious college in L.A. or N.Y. Pieces of paper run our lives so would
it matter if it was my school (Utah Valley State College) or a more
recognized school.

In the mean time while a save up for said college, I was thinking about
the intensive programs two schools in New York offer. One is the
School of Film and Television 4 week, 9 hour days. The other is the New York
Film Academy. Would this be a good move or a waste of time. If it is a
good move then if you have any experience with either schools could
you recommend one?

I thank you for your ear and advice. Even a grain of sand tips the
scales...

I'm off to a shoot right now, but I will answer you when I return.
I just thought that everyone could or had the opportunity to read other peoples questions and answers somewhere on this site.
I guess they are all private, which I wasn't aware of, sorry.
Let me say this, schools are great if the instructors are not only instructors but actual actors or directors in the real world still.
If someone has only been teaching for 10-15 years I believe that thier methods might be stale.
