Question
I have been known to have a good voice since I was  younger. I have been in musicals and take dancing classes. I have also written a couple of songs. My question is what advice can you give me about furthering my career as a rock musician.

Hi Ashley...Thanks for writing and your question.

Hmmmm...Well, I think there are a few things I would recommend:
1.  Have a reason beyond money or fame or power for doing what you do that will motivate you to keep going when the tough times come.
2.  Expect that it will require of you commitment and perserverance and that there will NOT be an automatic success.
3.  The best success is worked for.  You will value it more and not throw it away.
4.  Study and show yourself approved.  
5.  Always love.
6.  Always do your best.
7.  Take care of you.
8.  Give gratitude every day.
9.  Take action even when afraid.
