But I must Ask one more question tho is there anyway I can Start acting on any Disney Channel show. My dreams where kind of shattered in the last Anwser but theres nothing I can do. If you can't find anything on Disney Channel Acting Ill see if I can become a Disney Imaganere If I can get htere my luck has been very bad these last few years with the Disney channel Acting. And Just to let you know I thank you so much for all your help so far. so please lets try one last time maybe my luck might change for once..... -JT Revan
Answer Hey Revan,
AHHH I didn't mean to shatter your dreams ... I might be wrong about them cancelling soon, that just seems to be the way these shows work. Ive never really seen a show on the Disney channel last more than a few seasons (besides animation).
Really, my specialty is theatre ... so I dont have any contacts that could help you with this. When I typed in Disney Auditions in google it came up with a whole bunch of listings for characters to play at Disney theme parks and parades. That might interest you, but I dont think thats REALLY what your heart wants. Besides, they want actors above 18yrs old.
It seems like Disney hires who THEY want. THEY find their actors through casting companies and agents. So you cant expect them to have an open cattle call (audition for anyone). They might, but I highly doubt it. Really, my best advice would be to get an agent or to be listed in a casting company. Basicly this means that potential employers will be able to flip through photographs and see if your face matches what they want in their character. They also check your information (height, age, weight, hair colour etc etc). You might want Disney ... but NEVER turn down another acting job. EVER. Unless if you're not comfortable with the role. But seriously, it can help stack your resume and send you on your wayto Disney.
