Question
i have had an etching by george w. bohde. in our family for @ least 75 years. it has been  appaised
& is an original, however im wondering about this artist i can find no bio on him. i'm pretty sure he is from new england and or n.y.c ive tried all the big reference books ect ect...have found prints  in galleries. nothing on him?
he does rural landscapes mainly, some native americans.
perhaps you know someone who has  some info? also he uses brn ink & pencils, and usually  a trademark( mine has a rake & hoe crossed) have seen dog too on prints. enjoyed this work for 50 yrs, & just recently found out its monitary value
which is nothing compared to our enjoyment of his work. thank you for" anything"  about him. sincerely, joy
