Question
I have been exhibiting paintings for years, and have an online store, but I only sell a few paintings per year.  I'm at a loss.  How can I reach the art buyers market?

Answer
Hello............this use to be the $64,000 question.......but with inflation it is now the million dollar question.

Selling art is the best of times is a challenge.....since it is a "luxury" item....and very few Americans even own an original painting.

I wish I could offer an easy answer to you.........but as an alternative I recommend you subscribe to Art Calendar Magazine [check out their website artcalendar.com ]  They have very good articles on the marketing and selling of art works.  Also check out Art Business Magazine.
Exposure is most important for an artist.  Try this site as a beginning...and there are many more free to show and list your works.  http://www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk/yourgallery/

All the best,
