Hello.....would like to help you....but need to know what it is that you want to gain from the exposure to these formal education courses.

If it is to gain a position in the art world....you would best be served by having as diverse an experience as possible.  

Also, you should definitely speak with the guidance counselor at this school [or the admissions personnel] to gain their insight as what courses to take.
