i have a set of paintings by john brewster and i have no idea about art.how would i go about getting a appraisal,i live in a small town in illinois and there is no where around here that does them.do you know anything about the artist

Since you are in Illinois....worst case scenario is to call the Art Institute in Chicago and ask if they have an art appraisal department...perhaps a "live person" might help you!
