Careers: Arts/artist insurance

QuestionI have a single mural project to do. Where can I find the best temporary artist insurance for THIS job? I will be doing the mural in my studio, but mounting it on site. God forbid any problems involving damage should arise at the site. As a matter of fact, God might be watching. It's a church.
AnswerPart Two,
For someone who is in search of an answer on insurance and has the balls to
rate the response a "3" out of "10"......has just caused this respondent to
cash in his chips as a volunteer on this site. If you are so limited in experience,
that you have to use a website to ask a question which any average adult would
first think of contacting the yellow pages then you are just plain ignorant.
I sent you a thank you, because you have allowed me to rethink being an art expert
on this free advice site....and therefore have just resigned my post.
Auvoir!
Hello,
Concerning your desire to secure temporary insurance......since I am not
an insurance expert....would suggest you first try the company which
handles your homeowners insurance....and if you don't have one....give
a call to Travelers....I use them for coverage of my art gallery....and for
"shipping" insurance...called "marine insurance". You might also check
with the church to see what kind of coverage they have...and perhaps you could
secure temporary coverage thru their policy or company.
Good luck.......God loves artists!
