Questionhello I am a 34 yr old single mother who is on disability and have at the moment very limited income I have a and have always had a strong artistic nature and know I have alot of talent however many times in the past I have tried different mediums and always come up against a wall as far as understanding the step or technique and I have no one to ask and guide me because of the cost invovled and my learning difficulties yet now at this moment I am really wanting to really pursue it because I have too much to just waste away My question is how does someone in my shoes with hardly any income and learning difficulties overcome this people have said to me oh just do it but what they dont understand is that I dont understand alot of it and I need guidance. Thank you

What kind of guidance do you need? You didn't mention the medium you've been working in that's giving you a problem.
Depending on what it is you're trying to do, you don't need more than a pencil and paper to create art. Art isn't something that's dependent upon costly materials, the only thing that matters is your desire to create.
You should "just do it" as others have suggested. Don't expect anything in the way of a "master piece", you need to create many many pictures before anyone can create anything masterful, but it's by doing the process over and over that one improves. It takes time to get good at anything, not just art. Art is a journey where you must enjoy the trip, not the arriving at the destination.
