Question
well, I'm just a teenager who will complete 18 next year. I have been thinking lately of selling some of my paintings. I'm not quiet sure about it but surely want to do it! I'm more of an independent person therefore I prefer earning my own money instead of depending on my parents for it. I surely may be too small for it, its just a thought which passed through my mind and I hope it will happen in reality. I just need some help as to how to begin?
or any other suggesion as to how to go about it. Because I have no clue how to begin with it since i don't have much funds with me too.
I'm not thinking about something very vast or huge, just a small sale or something?
any suggesions please? :) thank you!

Answer
We all started "small".....so don't let that idea be an impediment to making a go out of
a career as an artist.  Will advise you though, that making a living as an artist is an uphill
challenge....as it is difficult to get established.

You might want to visit a local gallery with photo's of your work and speak with the director to get some direct advice. You might also join Saatchi.com website which provides an outlet for artists.  Another idea is to use eBay to show some of your works, and see what kind of response you receive.  I believe you only need to pay eBay when you sell, so it shouldn't cost you much.

All the best to you in your adventure.......
