Hi,im matt i wanted to know how much my art is worth. i have photos of some of my paintings i could send you if i had a personal e-mail or you could go to freewebs.com/mattsart to view this art of mine. i would just like to find out how much i should charge if i were to sell some of my paintings, or if you can give me some advise on getting people to want to buy my art. i am just coming out of high school and i want to build my stats as an artist please help.

Hello Matt,

This is the age old question.....how much is not enough and how much is too much.  If you are just starting out.....figure that what you ask now is the LEAST amount you will ever ask for your art work.  Probably you will lose money at first, but if you are in it for the long haul, then consider this as "dues" you have to pay because you don't have a track record of sales.

I know this doesn't give you a specific number.....but it is really what you want to ask that counts.
