I have been studying art independently for a year now. I came across artacademy.com and was intrigued by the artist's portraits and the DVD sessions. I was wondering if you had heard of the website, and with your experience if you could its legitimacy as an art instruction program? Thank you very much.

Hello.........you are the second person who has questioned this program.....so they must be doing a lot of advertising.

I have not hear of them....I did check out their website...it seems professional in tone, but your best bet would be to contact the New York City Dept. of Consumer Affairs  [http://www.nyc.gov/html/dca/html/home/home.shtml]
and/or the Better Business Bureau of New York  [http://www.newyork.bbb.org/home2.aspx]  and see if they have a history of any complaints.
