Question
dear dj murphy,
i appreciate you answering these two questions i got.
1.  i'm about to have a show outside (like a fair). How in the world do i display them? i got a tent, but i probably need freestanding walls?  please help.  and where do i find the items i need.
2.  i paint from others' photos, very realistically.   is that legal?  what's the rule?  can i paint off of free stock royalty-free images?
thank you
annie
and where's your gallery?

Answer
Hello Annie,

You can buy mesh type hanging systems at most art supply stores.........or go on line...check out Blick Art Supplies...or just type in keyword display systems.

Not a good idea to paint from other peoples photo's without their written permission.  If they are published photos' they are usually copywritten.  You can paint from stock [as in free] photo's.  Why not just take your own and go from there?

My gallery in in High Bridge, NJ    www.galleryonemain.com

Good luck with the show.
