Question
I have been invited to meet a gallery owner because he's interested in my paintings which he saw on my web site. What do you recommend I take to the gallery when I visit him?

I'd appreciate any information from someone with experience. Thanks!

Answer
Hello Jim,

Take with you a few "real" samples that are representative of the type of work you do...and bring them in a few different sizes........plus photo's of others, and an "artist statement".....and bio [resume...art related].  Some galleries like slides.....but most now just look at photo's and/or CD images.

good luck,
