Question I have a painting I aquired some years ago.
I dont know who it is by, I have taken a couple pictures and can send them if needed. It is, I believe a water color. But I`m not sure. It is a painting of water with sail boats,one row boat with 4 or 5 people in it. There is A city or town off to the left about mid way up the painting. On the lower Left side it has "Normandy Coast".
On the lower Right it says, I think "Lafitte". The main sail boat has Something on it but I cant be sure as to what it is. It looks like "l7D" But like I said, I cant be sure. Please let me know of you have any idea as to where this came from. Thanks for your time.

I have absolutely no idea what to tell you. If "Lafitte" is in the lower corner...then one might assume that he/she is the artist. If this is true, then perhaps information about him is to be found here:
